The Walla Walla Sweets are going into their 8th season this year at Walla Walla’s Borleske Stadium. This summer collegiate wood-bat team plays against 11 other clubs across the Pacific Northwest—as a member of the independent West Coast League. Every summer, top collegiate players from across the country take up residence in Walla Walla, to hone their skills for future greatness in college, minor, and Major League Baseball. Fans that come to Borleske Stadium experience small town baseball, much as it was played across America before the advent of television. The picturesque setting of a 90 year old natural grass stadium, combined with traditional ballpark food, warm summer nights, and outstanding baseball makes Walla Walla Sweets games a treat to remember.
